Dressing for the Topknot-Cutting Ceremony
The Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles organized a seminar on dressing for the topknot-cutting ceremony for our June programme on 21th June 2014 from 13.00-16.00.
The seminar was conducted by Phra Maha Raja Guru Bidhi Sri Visudhigun, Head Brahmin, Royal Ceremonial Affairs Division, and Ms. Bulong Srikanok, historian of the Fine Arts Department. The program closed with a demonstration of dressing for this ceremony by Weeradhamma Tragoonngoenthai, founder of Chansoma Group in Surin Province. The program was conducted in Thai.
